VERITAS  (latin: TRUTH)

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6

Jesus claims here the exclusive, absolute nature of truth.

If Jesus is THE truth, then (within the context) there is no other truth. If Jesus is THE way, then there is no other way. I Jesus is THE life, then every thing else leading away from Christ leads to death.

Death by definition is seperation...

If our soul/spirit seperates from our body it's because we died physically. If our soul/spirit resides for eternity in Hell it is because we were seperated spiritually from God, and thereby subject to his absolute, white hot, justice.

This fact is something God takes no pleasure in.

The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.

(Psalms 147:11)

In fact God paid the price for our salvation himself so that as many as receive Christ in their hearts, can be assured of a home with Him eternally.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

(John 3:16)

Accepting Jesus best occurs through a simple coversation with God that includes these truths.

1. You are a sinner.

2. Your sin is an offense to God, and places you under his condemnation.

3. You cannot save yourself at all (not even partially).

4. If you believe, and wish to, you can invite Jesus into your heart to save you.

"...I pray this in Jesus' name, Amen"

If you have sincerely prayed this prayer from your heart...

The I would am happy to tell you that, you can be assured of a home in heaven.

These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. (1 John 5:13)

For Four and a half years I transported remains for 30 metro-(city withheld) funeral homes...In that time I saw two extemes of how people meet there end.  One is with the hope and assurance of salvation by Jesus Christ, and the other is without.  I can tell you that the difference is PROFOUND, tomorrow is not a guarantee, please consider this decision carefully before you navigate away to... well, you never know...that's the point.
